ABOUT Sidney

Hi, I’m Sidney Madison—a creative storyteller, designer, and recent graduate of The University of Alabama, where I earned my degree in Creative Media.

I’m at the beginning of my professional journey, but I’ve already had the opportunity to explore storytelling across film, photography, design, marketing, and live production. I love the process of taking an idea from concept to creation: I have experience in storyboarding, writing, designing, production planning, and working behind the scenes to bring a project together. 

​

While at Alabama, I gained hands-on experience through coursework in production and directing, creating commercials and short films alongside students and faculty. I also served as a Photography Editor for 1956 Magazine, where I developed my eye for visual storytelling, editorial photography, and creative design.

My experience extends beyond the classroom. As an intern with ReBirth Marketing and Consulting, I contributed to creative and client-focused projects while learning how strategy, storytelling, design, and content work together to build brands and communicate ideas.

I’ve also gained live-production experience through an internship with the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater and expanded my perspective through an industry immersion experience in Los Angeles, where I had the opportunity to learn more about careers and creative disciplines within the media and production industry.

I’m still learning, and that’s one of the things I love most about being a creative. I’m curious, adaptable, collaborative, and always willing to learn something new to make the work stronger.

As I begin this next chapter, I’m looking for opportunities where I can contribute my creativity, continue developing my skills, and work alongside people who believe great ideas deserve to be brought to life.
